Recipe: Pesto Pasta

Ingredients:
- Fresh basil leaves
- Pine nuts or walnuts
- Garlic cloves
- Parmesan cheese
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pasta of your choice
- In a food processor, combine fresh basil leaves, pine nuts or walnuts, garlic cloves, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Pulse until finely chopped.
- With the food processor running, drizzle in extra-virgin olive oil until the mixture forms a smooth paste.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook your favorite pasta according to the package instructions.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot or cold, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
