Recipe: Garden Vegetable Stir-Fry

  • Assorted garden vegetables (such as bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli, carrots, snap peas)
  • Garlic cloves, minced
  • Ginger, minced
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Cooked rice or noodles
  • Optional: tofu, chicken, or shrimp for protein
  1. Cut the assorted garden vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add the vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry until they are tender-crisp.
  5. If using protein, add it to the skillet and cook until cooked through.
  6. Season with soy sauce to taste.
  7. Serve the stir-fried vegetables and protein over cooked rice or noodles.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
